Hughes Schools office hours: 8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Please call the school office to schedule an appointment.

Preschool class hours: 8:30am to 12:30pm Monday to Friday.

Elementary and High School class hours: 8:00am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday

Performing Arts classes take place from 1:40pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday according to assigned individual and class schedules.

The use of school uniforms has been adopted as school policy by the parents of Hughes Schools. Detailed information about the approved uniform for academic and artistic classes is available at the school office.

Hughes Schools does not provide transportation services for students. Parents have several public and private transportation options to meet their needs.

Accident insurance is required for all students and is available from several local insurance companies at reasonable rates.

Lunch and snack service is available. Please consult with the school office for more information.

Hughes Schools adopted the use of tablets in all elementary and high school classrooms in 2017. Information regarding tablet specifications, apps, and software is available at the school office. Some textbooks are used to complement program needs.

Results have shown that all Hughes Schools graduates who have studied at least 2 years in the school are able to achieve the TOEFL score required for university entrance abroad.

To obtain full benefit from the opportunities presented by Hughes Schools, it is essential that all students participate in the Performing Arts program. Participation in performing arts allows students to develop and reinforce responsibility, discipline, teamwork skills and other habits, values, and attitudes transferable to academic study and essential to the formation of well-rounded students who excel in all areas of life.

The Performing Arts Program consists of two general levels. In the Introductory artistic levels (1st through 4th grades) all students take a combination of Dance classes (Classical Ballet/Jazz, Bolivian Folk Dance) and Music classes (Music Theory, Choir). In the Specialty level which begins in 5th grade, students choose either Dance or Music as an area of interest and follow an advanced program of study.

Tuition at Hughes Schools is set with the purpose of providing a high-quality education to the maximum number of families possible. Please ask at the school office for a complete list of programs and costs.
